Before release: set it up properly
- Title: "Artist – Song Title (Official Music Video)". Fans and YouTube search both expect this format.
- Thumbnail: a clear face or striking frame, large and readable on a phone.
- Description: streaming links first, then lyrics, credits and social links.
- Premiere: schedule a YouTube Premiere 3–7 days ahead so fans can set reminders.
- Disclosure: if the video is AI-generated and realistic, tick YouTube's altered or synthetic content setting.
Week 1: release week
- Post 3–5 vertical clips of the hook on TikTok, Reels and Shorts in the days around the premiere.
- Upload a 3–8 second loop from the video as your Spotify Canvas.
- Pin the video on your profiles and add it to your link-in-bio.
- Send it personally to fans, friends and anyone who supported the song.
Weeks 2–3: keep it moving
- Post behind-the-scenes: how the concept was made, before-and-after frames.
- Pitch the video to music blogs, YouTube channels and curators in your genre.
- Post new cuts of different moments in the video, not just the hook.
- Reply to every comment in the first weeks; engagement helps distribution.
Week 4: paid boost (optional)
A small ad budget works best on proven content. Pick the short clip that performed best organically and run it as a YouTube or Meta ad to people who like similar artists. Even $5–10 a day for a week can bring new listeners when the clip already works.
Make more than one asset
One video should become many posts. When you order a video, ask for vertical clips, a thumbnail and a Canvas loop at the same time. Our Release Pack adds all three for $50.
